Recycling with Eco Eagle

We have introduced recycling bins into every classroom, office and communal area of the school. 

In addition to the recycling bins, the schools have revolutionised how they treat food waste. This will now be collected and go on to be processed. The processed waste will then become fuel pellets with 80% energy efficient return.

Litter Picking

As well as making everything look better, litter picking has environmental benefits too. Litter that is recycled or correctly disposed of prevents wildlife from getting hurt. It also prevents their habitats from being disturbed and prevents plastics from breaking down and entering the food chain as microplastics. 

Sustainability & Rewilding

Rewilding is about all of us finding ways to work and live within healthy, flourishing ecosystems. Rewilding can enrich lives and help us to reconnect with wild nature while providing a sustainable future for local and wider communities.

We encourage our children to learn to grow vegetables in our garden in a process from seed to plate, achieving that knowledge of the hard work from the farmers that goes into the food we eat everyday.
